These responsive, punchy pickups are wired through two volume and two tone controls to a three-way toggle switch to provide you with all the control you could possibly need, whatever your style of playing. The mahogany body is paired with a set-in C-shape mahogany neck loaded with a smooth yet responsive amaranth fretboard. And this guitar has all the accoutrements you expect of an instrument that harks back to a golden age of rock, including a wraparound bridge and Wilkinson vintage-style tuners with 15:1 gear ratio. The SC-Special is a bona fide rock and roll animal that’s enormous fun to play yet has enough control options to make it a serious performance and recording tool.
